Keith Tyson (b. 1969) is a British artist who frequently incorporates systems of logic, scientific methodology and chance into his artistic oeuvre to examine the limits and infinites of his environment. His expression of both hypotheses and conclusion is conceptually founded and expressed in varying media, including painting, drawing and sculpture. Tyson has received numerous awards including the United Kingdom’s top fine arts honor, the Turner Prize.

Studio Wall Drawing: And so my river flows is part of an ongoing series that Tyson began in 1997. Each Wall Drawing is the same dimension, which corresponds to a small wall in Tyson’s original studio. Collectively these works on paper create a personal visual journal of Tyson’s life, documenting his ideas, thoughts, emotional state, activity in his studio and current events.
